Laronib 100mg Larotrectinib Capsules in Pakistan | Authentic Targeted Cancer Medicine – Consult a Licensed Oncology Pharmacy | Order Now at OShip.Pk

Laronib 100mg Larotrectinib Capsule in Pakistan

Laronib 100mg Capsule contains larotrectinib, an oral targeted cancer medicine belonging to the TRK kinase inhibitor class. It is designed for patients whose tumors have a specific NTRK gene fusion that is driving cancer growth. Treatment selection should be based on appropriate molecular or genetic testing and assessment by an oncology specialist.

Unlike conventional chemotherapy, larotrectinib is a molecularly targeted therapy. It blocks abnormal signaling from TRK proteins produced by NTRK gene fusions, which can interfere with signals that support tumor-cell growth and survival.

Key Benefits & Uses

  • Targeted cancer therapy: Specifically targets tumors with an eligible NTRK gene fusion.
  • For selected solid tumors: May be used in adults and children when the tumor meets the approved clinical criteria.
  • Oral treatment option: Available as a capsule for convenient oral administration.
  • Tumor-agnostic approach: Treatment is based primarily on the tumor's NTRK molecular alteration rather than a particular organ of origin.

Potentially useful in advanced disease: The approved indication includes metastatic tumors or tumors where surgical removal would be expected to cause severe morbidity, when there are no satisfactory alternative treatments or the disease has progressed following treatment.

How to Use Laronib 100mg

Laronib should be taken only under the direction of an oncologist or qualified healthcare professional.

For adults and pediatric patients with a body-surface area of 1 m² or greater, the labeled larotrectinib dosage is 100mg twice daily, with or without food. Pediatric patients with a body-surface area below 1 m² require a body-surface-area-based dose determined by the treating specialist.

  1. Take the capsule exactly as prescribed.
  2. Swallow the capsule whole with water.
  3. It can generally be taken with or without food.
  4. Try to take doses at approximately the same times each day.
  5. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without consulting your oncology team.
  6. If you vomit after taking a dose, follow your oncologist's instructions rather than automatically taking another dose.
  7. If you miss a dose, follow the prescribed missed-dose instructions; do not double the next dose.

Treatment is generally continued until the cancer progresses or side effects become unacceptable, with dose modifications made by the treating physician when necessary.
